Oh No! Bad Breath
It’s pretty horrible to get into an intense conversation only to draw a little closer and be smacked in the face by their bad breath. You might even start to feel nauseous to keep going with the conversation, and chances are that they will notice how the expression on your face has changed.
Imagine if you were the one with the bad breath.
The awful smell filling the air with every outward breath can make the other person very aware that you have a very serious case of bad breath. Strangers might not just tell you straight away that you have bad breath, but it is important to find out just how bad the smell is, because we are very poor judges of our own breath. Get a family member or a close friend to “test” your breath for you and give you an honest opinion of how fresh it is.
First Things First
Acknowledging you have bad breath is a fantastic first step, as many people have bad breath and don’t know it, others don’t tell them so they just keep on casting these poor first impression when they meet people. Here are the basic tips. Brush your teeth after every meal. Floss between your teeth and the gap between your teeth and gums. Scrape your tongue.
Just general oral hygiene is the first line of defense against a serious case of bad breath.
Tell Others
Here’s the catch.
While you would want other people to tell you that you have bad breath, how many do you think will really tell you? Telling someone else in a gently way will start them on the way to getting their fresh breath back. If there is any particular method that has worked for you then tell them about it. There are many products on the market and some of them are better than others.
Offer someone a piece of gum and gently tell them that they probably need to something about their breath. Although they might not like you for saying it you are doing them a favor and helping them out.
